Our vendors! That’s right, people love our market and come back week after week because of all the amazing items our vendors make, sell, and provide to our community. Every week is an exciting adventure with new offerings that our visitors love and buy. We bring people together to share local food and crafts, and we’re proud of the value and culture we bring to Newark.
Indoor Winter Farmers Market:
For the first time ever, the Canal Market District will be starting a weekly indoor winter farmers market at the Historic Arcade. Please note that the information below relates ONLY to the outdoor market season beginning in May at the outdoor pavilion (36 E Canal St.) As vendor space is more limited at the indoor space, we are completely full on vendors for this first season of the indoor market (running January 24- April 28). Become a 2025 Farmers Market Vendor:
The 10th season of the Canal Market District Farmers Market begins Friday, May 2, 2025. Friday markets run 4-7 pm, May through October, and Tuesday markets run 4-6pm, June-September (beginning on June 3, 2025.)

Come shop for all of your special occasions at our producer-only craft markets. Our vendors are handcrafting the finest goods, including jewelry, home decor, bath and body products, and more!
Mother's Day & Teacher Appreciation Market- Saturday, May 3rd, 10am-2pm
Summer Art & Craft Market- Date TBD
Fall Art & Craft Market- Saturday, September 27th, 10am-2pm
