Located in beautiful downtown Newark, the Canal Market District pavilion can host a small intimate event or a celebration for up to 192. Canal Market District is pleased to offer:

• Open space for social distancing

• Electric hookups throughout the venue

• Private parking for up to 46 cars

• Ample free public parking nearby

• Easy access to downtown Newark businesses, shops, and hotels

• Surrounded by downtown charm

• Only 40 minutes from Columbus, 35 minutes from Zanesville, 25 minutes from Johnstown, and 12 minutes from Granville

How much does it cost to rent the pavilion?

Pavilion rental is subject to availability, and a $50 deposit must be in place to confirm a reservation.

• Half-day rental (up to 4 hours): $400 (from first person to last person on site)

• Full-day rental: $600 (4 hours plus)

Canal Market District is proud to partner with the Doubletree Hotel for wedding festivities. We know planning special events can be overwhelming, but don’t worry. CMD and our partners are available and ready to assist you with as much help as you need!
